My weekly shop...

Hey everyone!

Someone asked me what I have in my weekly shopping basket, so I thought I would write a post on it :)
Today I went to Wholefoods to buy some things (I wish I could do all my shopping there, their Veg section is tear jerkingly beautiful!)

Although I didn't do my entire shop there (too poor! *cries forever*) I picked up some things I like to have in the cupboard at all times.

Here they are!

Seed & Bean chocolate bars are organic and handmade in England. They make really unusual flavours like Mandarin and Ginger or Pumpkin and Hemp.
All thier dark chocolates are Vegan friendly, I bought the Lavender dark chocolate et Mint flavours. The Lavender is such a perfect match to the 72% cacao. Et mint? well, that's just a classic, isn't it?

Ms. Cupcake is one of the first Vegan friendly bakeries in the country. I LOVE their cupcakes, everytime I go in to Wholefoods, I can't resist the temptation to quickly put one in my basket.
My favourite is Chocolate or Black Forest Berry Chocolate Swirl (sounds amazing, non?) but I wanted to try something different this week so I chose Choc Peanut Butter et Banana Choc Chip.

I can't wait to try them!

I don't eat much bread as gluten free vegan bread is hard to come by, but when I do, I usually use coconut oil as a butter alternative. I found this in the fridges at Wholefoods et it's so yummy! Not too salty et the coconut isn't too overpowering, just right. WANRING! Make sure you refrigerate this immediately as it will melt et the coconut oil et soya butter will separate.

This. Is. My Favourite. Drink. Ever. I use KoKo plain coconut milk as my main dairy alternative, but their chocolate milk is the best! Whoever wanted to drink cows chocolate milk when you can drink Coconut chocolate milk>!>>????
All of the food I make is for anyone who wants to give a go at trying something new, not just Vegans. But if you do drink animals milk, et love your chocolate milk, I would seriously advise you to give this a go...its TONS better for you et tastes amazing! Trust me!

I have a weakness, et that weakness is Peanut Butter et Jam sandwiches.
I tried Goober recently for the first time since I was little et my grown up tastebuds were not convinced. The jam wasn't...jammy enough?! It tasted closer to just flavoured sugar than strawberries. (I get wickedly picky when it comes to P&J sandwiches)
So I decided to buy myself some fancy jam. et here it is: Mercers Strawberry Jam, organically grown et made in Yorkshire.

I use coconut oil in everything! When I say everything, I mean everything. Here's where I use it:
My hair
my skin
a face mask
a hair mask
in all my cooking
for salads instead of olive oil
in baking

...yep, everywhere! I like the Vita coco oil, but there are so many to choose from now that it's fun to get a different brand each time. This big 500g jar will last me around 2-3 months.

Sometimes I come home quite late from a photoshoot et don't have the energy to prepare any food, so these Gluten free burritos are  perfect to shove in the oven et eat. I like them because they're not too big. No need for takeout anymore!

In addition to the above, I buy ALOT of vegetable et fruit:
Watermelon
Strawberries
Blueberries
Cherries
Bananas
(all for freezing)
Then for fresh food:
Carrots
Kale
Spinach
Courgette
Avocado (I eat one avocado daily)
Sweet potato
Mushrooms
Spring onion.

I like to be as seasonal as possible with vegetables although it's difficult when the supermarkets in england have no seasonal produce...:/

Thanks for reading, I hope you like it, ciao! xx.
