On my way home from the Post Office (I sold some more vintage clothes! yeay!) I couldn't resist the temptation of the Charity shops I passed by...so here's what I found inside them.
...oops.
I'm not suppose to be buying new clothes...I'm supposed to be selling them! But could you resist a Vintage 1970's dress like this?
...Nope! Me neither :)
I slicked my hair back in an 80's wet look low pony tail (it's a perfect way to work that greasy hair you couldn't be bothered to wash ;P)
I love how the fabric of the dress catches the light in such a way that it appears to be made of velour or crushed velvet.
The low scooped neckline front and back bares just enough skin to be feminine/sexual/chic.
I teamed it with my Alexander Wang x HM Scuba boots to create a contemporary edge.
The stretch fabric holds your body tight...perfect at shaping but not very forgiving at the same time - like so many skin tight dresses! (no cookies for me ;P)
It went perfectly with these Vintage blue 80's pyramid earrings: my Sisters (thanks sis!)
Attempting to pose on my rickety chair...failing miserably (it's hard in 3 inch platforms!)
...Success!
